1. The company’s catalogs, price list, and other advertising matter shall not form any part of any contract between buyer and company. Any price quotation by the company or its agents or employees shall be deemed to be for the purpose of information only and shall not constitute an offer to sell.
  2. Unless otherwise stated in writing all prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the issue date.
  3. Prices are subject to alteration without notice.
  4. All invoices will be dated the month the goods are dispatched from the factory or our warehouse, all amounts are strictly net. Extension of credit cannot be allowed.
  5. In the event the payment is not made by the date, we reserve the right to recover from the buyer interest at the rate of 5% above the bank of England base rate in existence at the time. Interest shall be payable from the original due date until the payment is made.
  6. Failure to comply with the terms of payment will become payable forthwith, including any applicable interest.
  7. Our ‘price promise plus’ does not apply to online only based companies and natural stone products and any non-UK site such as tile expert also price match can only be applied if the competitor has the item in stock.
  8. As the number of tiles per square yard and square meter is nominal, the buyer will be responsible for ensuring a sufficient quantity of tiles is ordered to cover the required area. We recommend that you add an additional 10% to cover waste and cuts.
  9. Delivered orders will be shrink-wrapped on a pallet and delivered curbside outside of your property. The driver will not be able to assist in getting the tiles into your property due to insurance purposes. Orders under 20kg weight will be delivered with a parcel courier.
  10. Canceled orders may incur collection and transport charges. If you cancel your order after it is in transit there will be a restocking charge, this is to cover our expense in returning the pallet to the warehouse for resale. Our standard restocking fee is 33%.
  11. Orders are accepted and promises for delivery are given conditionally upon our being able to secure the necessary material, and without responsibility for delays arising through risks and uncertainties of manufacture, strike, accidents, or other causes beyond our control. The company cannot, under any circumstances entertain any financial demands from the customer for late or incorrect delivery. As a company, we always recommend that you never book a tiler until you have the tiles delivered.
  12. The company must be notified by e-mail or fax within 48 hours of delivery of any claims by the buyer of any shortage or damage to goods in transit. Risk in respect of the goods passes to the buyer from the moment of delivery.
  13. Shading is an inherent quality of tiles, please check your tiles carefully before fixing to make sure you are happy with the shade of each as we will not accept responsibility after the tiles have been fixed. The buyer should order the correct quantity for its requirements as the company cannot guarantee against crazing or shade variation between batches. Shade variation is a design feature of most of our tiles. If for any reason you are not happy with the shade of your tiles, please contact us within 30 days of the invoice date.
  14. Please check your Goods carefully before fixing them. Fixing the Goods to a substrate means that you have accepted the tiles in their present state. No refunds or replacements will be offered after the tiles have been fixed. Any damage or wear to the tiles after they have been fixed is not our responsibility. All Goods must be looked after to uphold their quality, high gloss tiles, in particular, must be looked after well.
  15. The supply of goods does not mean that they are suitable for a specific installation. We can only be held responsible for any failure on products supplied by us, to the extent that the manufacturer of such products is prepared to guarantee the same. No tiles are guaranteed against crazing. We recommend that you make sure the surface is appropriate before fixing the tiles.
  16. The time frame in which we accept returns is within 30 days from the invoice date. If the order was a direct-to-your-home delivery, the 30 days will begin from when the goods were delivered to the address.
  17. For goods purchased online on our website, there will be a 14-day cooling-off period in which you can notify us that you intend to return the goods. After you have provided this notification, you will have 14 days in which to return the goods. If you choose to utilize this cooling-off period, you will get a full refund for the goods returned.
  18. We expect returned tiles in a re-saleable condition. Therefore, we recommend that you put the tiles back on the pallet they were delivered on, and securely fasten the tiles so they are not able to move around. It is always helpful in the event that damage may be caused in transit to take a couple of photographs before they are wrapped and when they are wrapped before they are collected.
  19. When collecting your refund, you must return to the same branch as you purchased the goods.
  20. The cost of a small cut sample tile is £0.99 and will be 10cm x 10cm in size. There will not be an option on the product page for this with specific exclusive tiles. Please consult our sales support team if you require a sample.
  21. The batch/shade of the tiles you receive may differ from the tiles on display within our branches.
  22. Any ex-display items purchased by a customer are on a sold as-seen basis. We will not accept any returns of these items.
  23. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Only authorized employees, on a need-to-know basis, within the company use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. Parliament has created specific unauthorized actions against computer systems and data.
